My teaching style is interactive, many of my former students would characterize it as "coaching". I always empower the student to find their way and to have them become "pros" in the learning process. I do not do the work for them, but I show them how they can make their tasks and finishing them more efficient. I am a firm believer in the philosophy that edication is not preparation for life, it is life itself. Experience is key.
Over 13 years of working with students that were not scholars initially. After learning skills to improve their educational/learning experience, they became more scholarly, and enjoyed learning. Learning is a lifelong process!

My very first year of teaching was at the Lehigh Valley Performing Arts High School, and I also taught for two years at Northern Lehigh High School. My teaching style has two main tenets. First, I believe that students should be the focus of instruction. I facilitate learning best when I discover how students process information, for I am able to present information in uniquely meaningful ways. Therefore, I encourage discussions and ask questions regularly, and change teaching strategies promptly as needed. Second, I believe that students learn best from actively engaging the material.
