A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate in Accounting, I was given the tools to be able to teach and comprehend a lot of math skills. I was able to take both Business and Math Courses in college including: Business Management, Calculus, Business Accounting, and Algebra. During the last 4 years I have privately tutored students in math and 98% of them went from being F students to B-A students in both math and business courses.
I love to teach students of all ages. I love the looks on their faces when I help them get something that they never thought they would learn. Initially, I believe it is important to assess a student’s present levels. If I know at what level the student is functioning, I can then create a plan to improve the student’s skills. When I am working one-on-one with a student, I teach to the student’s strengths. I try to touch as many modalities as possible, making the concepts easier to understand and remember.
