Tutoring differs from teaching in that "style" is replaced by method. Some of the methods I have used in the past are rhythm and music, neumonic devices, and of course, drill and practice. I have been told that I am gifted with presenting material in novel ways.

As a graduate from SUNY Cortland, I was always interested in teaching young adults to exceed their expectations. I have earned my bachelor's degree in elementary education and tutored and written curriculum for over 15 years. I acheived my Master's Degree in 2007 in the field of reading, after seeing the growth of illiteracy, I decided I wanted to make a difference in the field of reading.
I believe that children should not be taught with the expectations of failing. I go to the extreme, my students are taught by me to reach for the stars and go for the gusto. I was raised as a bilingual speaker, Italian & English, and was always fascinated by the workings of language. After my discharge from the Air Force in Australia, while studying for a BA in English & History, I began teaching and tutoring in this field.
