Before my selection in the Fulbright Program to come to teach Arabic here at UNL, I was teaching French and English for high school students until I got my Bachelor's degree in 2008. With the Fulbright program, I went through various workshops on teaching skills. I learned crucial teaching techniques that have been impacting my career as well as my students'. I am currently a Teaching Assistant at UNL working at the Department of Classics & Religious Studies and pursuing my Masters' Degree at the History department.

I am confident that my college education at the University of Nebraska, interpersonal skills, direct work experience and passion for education and further learning make me a great candidate for this exciting opportunity. I am a former student-athlete at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I was a member of the Husker Tennis team. During those five years I tutored English to a wide range of multi-national students, helping them on a wide range of areas from grammar to rhetorical writing.
