While I was at BSU I was active with the local girl scouts, and in three years I was a Studio 2B counselor, a pixie camp coordinator, a troop leader, and the co-community coordinator. At BSU I had a variety of different labs and practicums. In my Senior Honors study, I worked with a group of special needs children. I matched nontraditional learning methods to identify and develop talents and interests. I have taught music privately, for music stores, and taught and assisted with music in public and parochial schools. My teaching Internship was at Robbinsdale High School in art and commercial design. I served as Teaching Assistant to the Dean of Students while earning my Master's - emphasis was creative and professional writing skills.
