I love working with students and seeing their joy when something finally clicks. I believe learning must be a concrete process with plenty for the students to touch and manipulate in order to succeed. It's impossible for a teacher to use only one strategy because children all learn different. To be effective, a teacher must get to know the students and figure out what helps them then stick out that path. While attending high school at South panola, I tutored every subject at the school and at the boys and girls club for four years. I have earned a BS in Chemistry with a minor in Math. During my tenured at the ole miss I tutored at oxford and other local schools through a program called Family literacy, which is a progam to help educate kids of all ages. So, I have tutored kids for the past 8-9 years.

I believe that Math is a subject of concepts and if the concepts are clear than any body can do math. Making concepts clear depends on the teacher who analyze the understading of each individual and teaches him accordingly.
As a Math graduate, I wanted to remove hesitation and fear of students for this subject and I became a Math tutor.
