I am currently a sixth grade teacher at a Catholic Elementary School. I have been with the same school for the past 14 years. My experience there has been in the following grade levels: Pre-School, First Grade, Fourth Grade, Sixth Grade, Seventh Grade Math & Science, and Eighth Grade Math & Science. I have also tutored students in grades three through six in both reading and mathematics. It is very important to me that my students have fun while they are learning. Much of my teaching is done through games and hands-on experiences. I also firmly believe in the use of technology (computers) to help teach and reinforce concepts being taught. Every child has strengths and it is important to build upon those strengths.
