As a former military child, I have learned to adapt very quickly to any situation and believe every experience is a learning one. I have worked with both military and non-military with my duties in some jobs included helping people with software and computer skills. My undergraduate degree in Mass Communications strengthened my ability to communicate effectively and sparked further interest in education. Since my graduation in 2003, I've completed over 60 units of college classes. I am currently working on a second degree, in Nursing. I have many years experience as an illustrator and graphic designer, with large and small advertising agencies in Los Angeles. I have taught sculpture to children with Cindy Jackson through Art Center College of Design's program, "Art Center for Kids". I have also held volunteer workshops for Children of the Night in Van Nuys, California. I have privately tutored as well, for portfolio development for high school students seeking admission to art schools. I paint and draw in weekly workshops, and have begun my MFA through Academy of Art in San Francisco's internet program.
