Test Preparation is one of my top subjects! I enjoy tutoring individuals for tests in subjects, but also in GED, SAT, ACT, TOEFL. I use a variety of test strategies based on the student's strengths and weaknesses.

My tutoring strategies: -throughout my experiences, I realized that each person is different and require different teaching methods depending on the individual's preference -I prefer to use study skills that will benefit the individual; I have a variety of strategies depending on the subject as well. some individuals learn well using flashcards, while others prefer repetitive writing for memorization - I have had a couple of ADHD clients that prefer learning games and activities because it helps them stay active, but focused at the same time

I have been a special education teacher for 26 years with the Davidson County Schools. I have taught all grade levels from kindergarten through high school. I am currently a teacher at South Davidson High School in Denton, NC.
