Biology and Chemistry Tutoring

Hello, I am a recent UAB graduate. I graduated May 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with minor's in Psychology and Chemistry. I am currently in the process of applying to dental schools. Although I've had no previous experience as a paid tutor, I often get asked by fellow classmates for help with these sciences. Also I volunteer at an Elementary school in Fairfield, AL through the non-profit organization Better Basics. So I am already accustomed to working/helping younger kids (K-6th) do homework and prepare for tests. My younger brother is a sophomore in high school so I feel capable of helping high school ages as well. My personal style of learning is to learn by doing. I get my students involved in any process and get them to actually do the work so they learn it from experience, not just reading about it and taking for granted they know what is going on.
