I graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Florida with a B.S. degree in Accounting in December of 2012. I completed an internship with one of the Big 4 firms, and I'm currently working on my Master's of Accountancy degree at USF. I have over 10 years of experience which includes financial statement preparation, journal entries, fixed assets and depreciation, financial statement interpretation, and ratio analysis. Additional experience in a manufacturing environment (cost accounting), leases, and computerized accounting. I am also certified in taxes, both individual and corporate.
Since each student learns differently I vary my teaching style to adapt to the individual. I start by encouraging the student to identify where he / she "got stuck" in class. I've successfully utilized a different way to explain the material using real life examples, taught the subject using diagrams to illustrate points difficult to understand, and encourage the student to not get frustrated.

I also taught 2 years at Academie Da Vinci in Dunedin Grades 1-6 which included language arts, computer science and physical education.
