My comments on tutoring Testing Strategies : I have taught Testing strategies at all grade levels. Its important to know how to deal with the different question types on the tests. I also help ACT, SAT and OAA students with test strategies.

It is important to me that all children reach their best potential in whatever grade I am teaching. I have been in the teaching profession for 20 years and each day brings something different. Although, I came from a family of medical and science background, I have always wanted to teach and after 20 years, I am glad to say that I chose this profession. My goals are to meet each child at his/her learning level and provide the best education possible. My comments on tutoring Testing Strategies : discover a particular learning style and develop a study strategy for that student

Over the years I have developed study skills to help students with special needs as well as help individuals with special needs on the job site. I interview a potential student to find out the best way he or she learns. I would then adapt my teaching style to their learning method.I have worked with visually impaired students who needed me to transcribe their classroom tapes into braille or who needed me to write lecture notes for them. I worked with students who were taking English as a Second Language writing up grammar lessons,participating in Bridge classes, developing study hours for conversational practices at home and using pictures to get across ideas. I enjoy teaching students who have some motivation to learn, and care about their subject matter.
