A Little Bit About Me...

I finished my BA with concentrations in management and accounting at Troy University in 2007,then worked for three years in an Accounting Office. I left there in January 2010 to pursue my Masters in Accounting. I gained valuable experience in reading, writing and the application of mathematical formulas through working in a fast paced accounting office. I supervised one to three employees, trained them and audited their work. I have never officially tutored a student, but I have trained employees on accounting principals and how to write to the IRS and clients, as well as helping out friends and fellow students. I would like to tutor in reading, writing, history, business, and math.

A Little Bit About Me...

Though I graduated with a BS in Secondary English Education, I have tutored and worked with students from elementary to secondary levels. From 2003-2008 I taught English and a little Spanish in both public and private schools, endeavoring to give my fullest and best to teaching all students who came across my path. Teaching in a U.S. public school and at a private institution overseas introduced me to a variety of students from different backgrounds, learning styles, and study habits. I have tutored and given instruction in all areas of English, grammar, literature, writing, English as a second language, and Spanish. My name is Briana and my college major is Elementary Education with endorsements in ESOL and Reading. At the University of West Florida I have maintained a 3.6 GPA and have been on the Dean’s List and the President’s List. This is an important achievement. However, I do not take this to be my greatest asset. It is my belief that my love for children and desire to see them learn, even as I increase my knowledge, is of greater value.
