Normally, I use the student's textbooks and classroom materials during our lessons. For standardized tests, I use prep books, such as Princeton Review. Students do best when they are encouraged and receive positive feedback. My students are extremely satisfied after our lessons, and I receive wonderful feedback from children and adults I tutor.

My colleagues and clients continually tell me that I am the only lawyer who has been able to explain complicated issues in a manner that was easily understandable. I find that the Socratic method (individual discovery) works well with motivated interested clients. I am patient and have a laid back style that permits active participation in the process. While I have no formal teaching experience, my work as a mentor should enable me to to make a substantial difference in the lives of the children I who are seeking assistance in the art of written communication.
As an attorney I have spent the better part of my career mentoring co-workers and educating clients. As a litigator, I have drafted countless legal documents including pleadings motions and appellate briefs. As a result I have gained substantial insight into the art of persuasive writing.
