I enjoy teaching any age student, but more than that I get satisfaction when that student attains their goal. I have always been interested in teaching. I have taught for a couple of months as a full-time teacher in Franklin County's Middle School. I have been doing part-time voluntary tutoring for the last three years teaching math, physics, chemistry, computers, and foreign language. As a Fayetteville State University undergraduate, I did a lot of volunteer work with high school student. I also worked in the school's computer lab assisting students with classwork and homework. I have tutored students for the SATs. My specific field is English but I can also tutor in Spanish. I have an extensive amount of knowledge in grammar and composition as well as anything in the literature field.
My passion since I was 5 years old has always been teaching. I used to play teacher with my sisters and give themm stickers for job well done. I earned two bachelor degrees from the University of North Carolina in December of 2007. From there, I chose to move to Massachusetts to participate in a ground breaking fellowship at MATCH Charter Public High School. A Little Bit About Me...

I learned through visual aid. So, I guess I would lean towards this style of teaching. However, if a student learns better with audio aid then I would be willing to combine the two methods to better educate the student. My goal is to provide the best education possible and to suceed in that is to have great communication and alittle fun doing the work that is expected.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have always been gifted in mathematics, and I feel that is is my duty to help others achieve the success that I have. I earned a BS from Bucknell University in mathematics and I am now working towards a PhD in statistics at NC State University. I have taken education courses and I have worked with professors to run "gifted and talented" mathematic courses for students.
I have always found that the best teachers are the ones who are able to explain the same concept in a variety of ways, so this is what I seek to do when teaching.
