Looking for help with Engineering, Math or Computer Science?

I like to try and figure out how a student goes about understanding different topics. Often times teachers teach right from the textbook, but this can be confusing and students can be left behind because they learn differently. I know from experience that lectures don't always help and that another approach can be best.

More About This Tutor...

My teaching style is based on passion and reason. It's not only about motivating students to learn, but teaching them how to learn, and doing so in a manner that is relevant, meaningful, and memorable. It's about caring for my craft, having a passion for it, and conveying that passion to everyone, most importantly to my students. I teach my students the substance and treat them as consumers of knowledge. I consider my teaching style successful as it is about listening, questioning, being responsive, and remembering that each student and class is different. I tend to elicit responses and develop the oral communication skills of the quiet students. I work hard to push students to excel.
