I have taught at the elementary, high school and college levels for over 35 years. I taught business, Spanish and math and marketing and many other subjects. I hold a BA in Spanish and an MBA in International Business and 9 credits towards my MFA in Creative Writing and 15 credits towards my Doctorate in Business Administration., I enjoy teaching new students and the same students over time. It's true that every student learns at a different pace with a different style. I like to see myself as a cameleon teacher, catering my format to individual needs. My style tends to be laid back so that students are comfortable expressing their likes and dislikes with me, curbing their fear of not understanding something. I love to use metaphors, pictures, examples and stories to illustrate the subject in a new and perhaps clearer way.
