Love watching children learn and grow!

I use a variety of teaching styles and methods to reach students because I know that all students are different and learn better with different methods. I try to find creative ways to reach students to try to make learning as engaging and meaningful as possible.
I graduated from East Carolina University with a B.S. in Elementary Education (K-6) as well as Reading Certification (K-12). I did an internship in 1st grade as well as taught some in 2nd and 3rd grade. I know that each child is different and that I must differentiate my teaching methods in order to reach all children. I love learning new and creative ways to teach content to children and trying to make learning as engaging and meaningful as possible for all.

I took votech business class in high school for three years. I am advanced in all of the microsoft office applications. I also have taken two years of accounting. I have had intensive training with multiple intelligence (Kagan structures) with my current employer. I use these structures during every lesson. Multiple intelligence structures focus on cooperative learning and allow for students to learn in a way that is most suitable for them. The students become familiar with these structures and look forward to using them during the lessons to share their thoughts and findings with their peers.

I graduated with an Associate in Arts Degrees in English and in Elementary, Middle Grades and Special Education.
