Everyone needs help now and again!

I have worked with children ages 5 and up for a few years now. I have 3 siblings all 8 years or more younger than me, and have had lots of experience with children in elementary school. I have tutored middle school students after hours, and have worked with Special Needs children throughout my summers and within my school.
I find most children at young ages are visual learners, but I am easily adjustable to many teaching styles to fit the students needs.

I have completed the 80 hours training required by Texas and passed the NCLB tests: TExES Science 116 (4 -8), TExES Special Education 161 (EC-12), and the Arizona Biology 07 (9-12). My classroom experience was acquired during 3 1/2 years of teaching science in a high risk high school in Phoenix, AZ. At the school I help enrich the science department with movies, flash cards, outside actives, and plays. I tutored reading, and writing for the state of Arizona. I was also approved to teach math in Arizona.
