Drawing is one of my top subjects!

I have helped out several of my friends and family members, with everything from studying to hands on projects. I am looking to expand this help to others, and I also believe it will be a rewarding experience for myself. I, myself, enjoy the learning experience a lot, and hope to help others also find a way to enjoy their learning experience.
I have many different teaching tactics depending on how someone prefers to learn. Some people are visual learners, and need the assistance of visual aids and presentations. Others like to learn about things by doing them. However someone enjoys learning, I believe is the best method.

A Little Bit About Me...

Even though I graduated with a degree in Business Adminstration I hav always enjoys tutoring. I have been tutoring my younger neices and nephews just because I enjoy so. I have tutored grades K-12 in about almost every subject possible except band. I have written lots research papers on many different subjects.

I have recently graduated from the University of Michigan-Flint with a Bachelor of Science and teacher certification degree. I student taught during the fall '09 semester. Student teaching provided many opportunities to work on various teaching techniques. The student teaching semester consisted of; leading the class in discussion on a daily basis, creating worksheets, conducting lab experiments and other activities, grading homework and tests, and much more. My teaching style would be to find the student's primary learning style and converting the information he or she needs into a format that fits that learning style. Each subject would be made as visible or concrete as possible, so that the student could interact with the material on more than just a visual/conceptual level. Showing the student how the material can relate to real-life situations and opportunities would be a vital part of the instruction.
