I hold three college degrees in Biology (B.S.), Chemistry (B.S.), and Industrial Engineering (M.S.). I also have practical experience working with organic chemicals and polymers because I was employed in the manufacturing sector for over 30 years. This combination of education and work experience benefits the students that I tutor by applying learned scientific principles to practical everyday use. Math and science did not always come easy to me as a student, so I know how frustrating it can be for someone to struggle in school. As a tutor, I work hard to give my students the confidence they need to succeed in and outside of the classroom. I find that it helps when students understand why the concept they’re working on is important and what it can actually be used for out in the real world.
