A Little Bit About Me...

As an English major I have always enjoyed and excelled in the field. I was top of my class in high school. I also aided in the kindergarten class. I changed my major in college because I knew English was my calling. I have a Bachelor's degree from Warner Pacific. I enjoyed my classes and did extremely well. I aided at Clackamas High for a while, where I enjoyed the one on one with the students. In my current job I have trained and taught many associates. I am a perfectionist who pays great attention to detail. I love to read, write and create. I have always wanted to work as a tutor.

Graduating from three different institutions, I have earned two master and a bachelor degrees – MS in Biology and MA in Special Education, and BA in Biology. Math and Science have my main strengths in earning the degrees. Being deaf since birth, I have learned a lot about deaf people – especially children with their delayed language and math skills. I want to give something back of what I have excelled in education. Many people and children deserve the education and help they need in order to make progress in math.
Teaching for 11 years in deaf education, I have enjoyed seeing a growth in my students’ math academic progress in middle school and high school level.
