Calculus II is one of my top subjects!

I teach by asking you to do a few problems for me and after figuring out where you have trouble, I take you step-by-step and make you understand. Afterwords, I'd have you do a few practice problems and check it to make sure you and I both are confident in your abilities. There may be a few homework problems every night to refine your memory.
I personally love math and I make it my hobby. I am currently taking multivariable calculus (Calc III) and have completed Calc I, Calc II, and many other math subjects. In addition, I have received a perfect 800 on the math section of the SAT and on the Mathematics II SAT subject test. My teaching style is more apt to be visual and interactive because I believe most students who are struggling in mathematics are helped by these methods. I believe that mathematics is highly stigmatized in the way that once a student gets frustrated by it, they easily dismiss the entire field as being foreign to them. This is where I step in and show them that even if they are having trouble with all the formulas in algebra they can learn them a more visual way, say using geometry. There is always multiple ways to learning one math topic and a student will find a way that they feel comfortable with. Then once you get them to excel at a single step then you can break down these walls and show them that they can be good at mathematics!
