Tutor for Regular Elementary and Special Education

Elementary Tutor

I have a varied style, which is geared to the learning style of my students. I teach world to text, text to text, text to life.
I was employed by the Lakeland Central School District as a substitute Teacher Aide and later in a full time capacity. I worked for the OASIS Program and later at the Alternative High School. After completing my Bachelor's Degree at Concordia College, I applied for and was accepted into the New York City Teaching Fellows Program. My comments on tutoring Psychology : I scored a 5 on the AP Psychology exam when I was in high school, took several psychology courses as an undergraduate, and earned my master's degree in developmental psychology.

A Little Bit About Me...

Other than having a lot of patience, I don't have a very specific style of teaching. Everyone learns in a different manner, so I try to take this into account on a case by case basis. Some students learn through repetition, some through writing, others through listening. I always try to make things as fun as possible and enjoy feedback.
I recently graduated from Montclair State University in 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and a concentration in management.
