All of my teaching experience in chemistry comes from my teaching General Chemistry Labs while pursuing Graduate Studies. Working with younger children and teens has always been fun for myself. I think it's good to get to know the student on somewhat of a personal level. This allows for you to understand how the student thinks and learns, since every student learns differently. I am a very patient person and I try to find the best possible learning approach.
I recently graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in Civil Engineering in December 2009, which has given me a very strong mathematical background. I taught with the Bangor adult education program in the early 1980's as a graduate student in educational psychology. I taught adults a variety of subjects math, English and GED preparation at that time. I also taught English as a Second language with them. I also hold a masters in education at the University of Maine at Orono that I have not listed in the formal education section. I reserved that section for relevant finance and accounting information.
