How to learn takes you farther in the Path to Life.

I believe sometimes it is the teacher failing not the student. To become a Doctor we don't always have a choice. i was blind in my left eye and completed on a level equal to all other students. Now they call them special needs. I believe in cognitive dissonance is best way of knowing the retention is high. Repetition is not like having the knowledge of the empirical charts in chemistry and memorizing. A scientific method is used to achieve this by chemist. A degree teaches us "How to Learn" in any subject or later in "Work any Job.

I have retred after 33 years of teaching. 32 years of primarily teaching history or social studies subjects. I also have 15 years of teaching in schools for the deaf, there is some overlap of deaf education and social studies education. I am National Board Certified as a teacher.
