During the years of 1998 through 2000, I volunteered to help tutor students in subjects from math and science. My goal in teaching was to teach how to grasp the information and make to where they can put pieces together and solve/answer any questions in their lessons. I teach others by first trying to understand the way that person learns best. If I find that one way does not work for that student, I will try a different approach. I have found that many students have an easier time grasping basic understanding by using real life examples to which they can relate.
