Seeking Students Who Need English/Lit tutor

Iam a published author of a trilogy in Mystery,Romance,Fiction genres. I have worked as a tutor while in Junior College with MVCC in Rome NY I have also worked as a reading volunteer instructor in 2012 with the local Rescue Mission in Rome NY Received my Bachelors in English Literature in 2012 Currently working on my Masters in English/Creative Writing degree online through Southern New Hampshire University located in Manchester NH. Will receive in 2015.
I use a one-on-one approach, individuality, encouraging feedback with a student, I also enjoy seeing creativity in students.

I am a big believer in stationed teaching concepts. A student must first, learn through audio and visual styles of learning through teacher-student interactions. I work on vocabulary strategies and skills next. The proper vocabulary background for any subject area should be clear and concise to the student. We next work on concept mapping, and linking common themes. There is a process to every step of learning. I will review often to look for missing concepts. Finally, independent learning is another station that is vital important. Assessing how a student can complete tasks on their own gives me an idea how well the instruction is going. I will learn and adapt from my own mistakes in instruction when needed.

I am 20 years old. I graduated from high school with honors. I was in advanced english. I also graduated with honors from Madison-Oneida BOCES. I am currently in college for Business Management, and I am also studying Psychology. When I finish I want to work with teenagers. Everyone goes through a hard time when they are teenagers, and I believe I can help. I have an older brother who was struggling through high school, and I helped him to graduate. My younger sister is now in high school, and I help her anytime she needs it.
I love teaching and helping kids. I have been around a lot of kids all my life, and maybe I am not a people person, but kids seem to love me.
