I begin teaching students after assessing their needs and experiences. My students are active learners as I instruct with games, music, and art. Relaxed but demanding. I try to teach at the level of the class and try to tutor on a one-to-one basis at the students ability. Try to put myself in students perspective. Try to feel out the students perception of Mathematics and then try and tailor the presented material on that basis. Many students take Math because it is required and not worth putting any extra thought other than passing the course. I teach by example and experience as to how the concepts of Math apply to their everyday lives. Math is also a great way of training the mind to logically understand the approach needed to problem solving in all areas of life.

I went to school for the next year at the University of Kentucky, did not finish my degree, but earned enough credits to be hired by to teach in their Alternative School.
