A Little Bit About Me...

Tutoring will be online and we will hold a "Session Zero" to help us get to know each other. This will give me a better understanding of how to work well with you.
I have been a tutor before in person and am used to working with young and older kids. As I am currently a Biology Major in Undergrad I believe I am a good fit to tutor anyone younger than me or around my age. I am patient and a good communicator so we have a good chance of becoming friendly which helps when learning or reinforcing new topics and ideas. I always empower the student to find their way and to have them become "pros" in the learning process. I do not do the work for them, but I show them how they can make their tasks and finishing them more efficient. I am a firm believer in the philosophy that edication is not preparation for life, it is life itself. Experience is key.
Over 13 years of working with students that were not scholars initially. After learning skills to improve their educational/learning experience, they became more scholarly, and enjoyed learning.
