I love helping students achieve thier best efforts through art education. I like to encourage approaching art in a variety of media and styles. I believe art should be fun and challenge creativity.
As an honors graduate, I am constantly looking for new opportunities in art education. I have earned a Bachelor of Science in Art Education as well as two minors one in Art Studio and Art History. I am currently teaching a ceramics course, and I am also a substitute teacher. My areas of focus for my Studio minor were fibers, metals, and painting.

As an art teacher in the public school system I have worked with students of all levels and ages. My degree from West Virginia University includes experience in all media and a minor in art history. During my teaching career I have been a n after school session holder for tutoring students who need special help and students who need to be excelarated. I have experience with all learning styles and students with special needs.
I love teaching. Seeing students discover content knowledge through hands on activities is wonderful.
