A Little Bit About Me...

I recently graduated with my Bachelors from the University of Tennessee. My degree is in English, but I have tons of experience tutoring in just about everything. The ages I have tutored most is older elementary, middle, and high schools as well as college. I can especially help prepare students for college and help them succeed in college. I love helping the students reach their full understanding of the topic in easy ways.
I have a five year experience over which I learned different students' techniques of learning and understanding the curriculum. I have developed better methods of explaining things to students who couldn't understand the topic. Through God's help and my tutoring, my tutees' grades have nearly doubled and reached over a 100.

After graduating from MTSU, I went to Prague, Czech Republic to train and work as a teacher of English as a foreign language. I secured a position at Bell School International. Here I taught mostly adult students but I also had a few high school classes. I found it was more satisfying teaching the younger students and so I looked for work at the elementary level. At Horackova Elementary, I taught 6th to 9th grade English. I had a great rapport with all the students and enjoyed planning for the array of levels and age groups. However, I was the only teacher there who spoke English and felt alienated from the school. As a result, I made the difficult decision to return to the United States.
