Creative Arts is one of my top subjects! I have my Masters Degree in Drawing and Painting and my Undergraduate Degree in Studio Art. I continually produce artwork professionally which can be viewed on my website: Jessicafife.com. I frequently exhibit in my city Long Beach, Los Angeles, surrounding cities, nationally and online.

My focus is for my students to acquire a sound understanding of the fundamentals of drawing and painting and to become grounded in their unique abilities and concepts. I want students to gain proficiency in traditional techniques and contemporary concepts and to become confident in their unique styles. While being exposed to art from the past and present, my hope is to stir a passion that will propel their careers and inspire them for years. A constant in my teaching is one-on-one instruction. Class demonstrations and lectures are essential: however, I find my greatest impact is an emphasis on individual instruction with each student. Hi! Needing an Art or Art History tutor? I have tutored at the college level in photography, drawing, watercolor and art history. My senior year I assisted the instructor (teaching the class on several occasions) of film based photography. I have also tutored in basic photoshop skills. Graphic Design Instructor ready to tutor you!

I am currently a Design Instructor and the Art Institute, Nashville TN. I teach Typography, Into to Photoshop, Graphic Design Elements, and Corporate ID. I have an Associate of the Arts degree and a BFA in Graphic Design from Missouri State University. My career started in the printing industry, and includes working in print shops, ad agencies, and as an art director for a publishing company.
