The majority of my tutoring experience took place at Northern Illinois University from 2007 to 2008. There I worked in the NIU Writers’ Workshop, tutoring freshman students with assignments from their English classes. I worked with the same students each week (usually one or two at a time for 50 minutes) on both personal narratives and research papers.
