My teaching style is a combination of the Demonstrator Model and the Facilatative Model. I start with establishing a logical prototype for how to think and approach problems, then I oversee, guide and direct by showing how to do things. Once the student has a basis of understanding, (s)he is encouraged to emulate my approach. I then move into the facilitative style and focus on guiding and directing by asking questions, exploring options, suggesting alternatives and encouraging growth and development of criteria to make informed choices. I love teaching and watching children succeed. All children learn differently, which is why I alter my teaching techniques based on their learning methods. I figure out what suits them best and than use that method to teach them. In my opinion this achieves a high success rate.
