Our tutors are trained to be able to relate problems to the real world, making them concrete and simple. For example, a question may ask what is 7 times 25? This problem is abstract and challenging to some people. Thus, I rephrase it to, "If you have 7 quarters in your pocket, how much money do you have?" By making the problem more relatable to the student, the problem suddenly appears easier and less intimidating. Our tutors go through training on how to assess each student's individual learning style, and know how to adapt to each student.
