Civil Engineering is one of my top subjects! I can help with grading, drainage, pipe design, road design, drafting, permitting and many other on the job related tasks.

My experience is mostly in residential and commercial applications for roadways and underground utility design. My style of teaching consists of two parts: first, to understand and visualize the concept and the problem; and second, doing the mechanics of problem solving. I prefer to work with the basic equations rather than memorizing the variations of the formula. I work with examples.
I work as a civil engineer and geophysicist. I have earned two bachelor degrees, BS in Physics and BS in International Business which has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math and science. In addition, I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers and laboratory reports, along with essays in many various areas of study. During my college years I was an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant serving as assistant to a class in physics courses; I have also tutored adults and teenagers in physics, mathematics, and sciences in private classes.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a Civil Engineering graduate I know how difficult classes and the work load can be. For mathematics my teaching style is to have the students understand the core concept. Since without a good understanding of this it becomes extremely difficult and sometimes impossible to understand the rest of the subject. I am very hands on and teach through both visual and verbal skills. I speak both Armenian and Russian and can also help ESOL student that speak these languages become accustomed to the American language. By using both written and verbal demonstrations.

Teaching is about preparing and showing a person how to extract information and the tools to best achieve that in their own way.
