I am focused on getting you to understand the material such that you can answer multiple choice questions easily. I focus on test prep. I like to use examples in real life to help you understand. If one example doesn't work, I use others. I prefer to use animations to get you to understand.
I have taught Anatomy and Physiology at the college level so I know the kind of questions that will be asked on exams and can teach you what to focus on. I can give you practice exams. I have tutored in Biology and focus on my student's needs. I got a 33 on the MCAT without studying much and I can teach you how to do that too.

As a college senior, I've come to value greatly my education. Prior to enrolling at the University of Georgia, I made a perfect 800 on the math section of my SATs. Even though I am a science major, I have a great understanding of math. Currently, I tutor middle schoolers in basic algebra, most of whom are struggling and need a lot of help. I have also recently finished an entire college online algebra course online for someone with a 96 average.
My strongest suit in my teaching style is probably the many ways that I would approach teaching a certain principle. If the student does not understand one way to approach a problem, I try to best to help them understand and learn another way. I love that look that you get from a child who gets what you are teaching them. When the light bulb turns on, and you know that they understand the process. That's what makes it all worth it. My teaching style is that with enough work, any child can succeed. They just have to know they matter to the teacher. I am a hands on learner myself so visual tools help me to teach the concepts to students.
I am a graduate of Clemson University, with a BA in Biological Sciences. I have always enjoyed biology since my first AP class my Junior year of high school. After college graduation I worked for six months in a cancer research lab, which gave me the knowledge of "real life" science and how that effects our lives I have worked as an after school and summer camp counselor which has helped me learn how to relate to them, and teach them material they are learning in school.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am university biomedical research employee and teach a biochemistry credit recovery program for high school students on the weekend. My area of interest is cancer research , nanotechnology , and stem cell therapies. I am currently in Easley SC for the summer and looking to offer educational backgrounds to anyone that needs help.
