Mr. Frederick Vaughan has a very extensive and diversified musical background as a woodwind instrumentalist. He has performed professionally in 25 countries touring with several bands and ensembles such as rock bands, jazz bands, jazz combos, New Orleans style brass bands, military bands, polka bands, chamber groups, and orchestras. He as played for numerous dignitaries including, 3 United States presidents, ambassadors, foreign presidents, and congressmen. During his time with United States Navy Band Southeast he was featured as a soloist numerous times on clarinet, saxophone, and flute in a variety of classical, rock, and jazz groups. He served as principal clarinetist in the ceremonial band and wind ensemble. As a graduate of Southwestern College, I was very much driven by a high level of excellence in education. While on active duty in the military, I completed my BS in Human Resource Development and I received Magna Cum Laude honors. I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing research papers and reports in various areas of study.
