A Little Bit About Me...

I have a good experience of tutoring hundreds of students over a decade period of time. I have tutored from first grade student to bachelors' degree students. I have formally taught students from grades four to ten for six months as a science teacher. Recently, I helped my wife in Anatomy and Physiology I and II and Lab and College Algebra. She got straight A's in them upgrading her GPA. Most importantly, my tutoring helped my students to uplift their self-esteem, confidence and to accept learning as a process which can be made more pleasant and simple. :)

I have always been fascinated with the Spanish language: its phonology, expressions, and many forms of the Spanish language. That love of Spanish caused me to formally study the language, and earn a B.A. and an M.A. in Spanish. My interest in Spanish also took me to Paraguay, and Mexico, where I lived for over three years. Many of my employment positions allowed me to use my Spanish communication skills. I have tutored part-time for over 10 years, taught high school, and done some light translation.
I follow the teaching strategy of Total Physical Response with commands, and TPR for stories. I find that this gets the students engaged with the foreign language, and they start communicating in Spanish faster than if other teaching styles or strategies were used. A Little Bit About Me...

My fascination with computers led me to ear two bachelor degrees in computer engineering from Morocco and computer criminology from the Florida State University. Both degrees challenged my comprehension of complex problems in math, algorithms, criminology. Furthermore, I had the privilege to serve as a lab assistant which allowed me to develop and improve my teaching capabilities. I also tutored students during my junior and senior year at FSU in discrete mathematics, databases, programming, French and Arabic.
I consider teaching as the most noble work a person can do. Both my parents are teachers since 1970s and I carried that gene.
