Although I have been self employed for the last 6 years, I went back to school last year to add Science and Math for middle school to my certification. I passed the Praxis for both of those subjects spring of 2010. I was not able to get a full time teaching position this year. I went back to working for myself but would love to tutor. I have tutored for 3 years while I worked for Tryon Elementary school. I had great success with the students I worked with, in particular concerning math. I am very qualified to work in a tutoring capacity.

My approach is to establish a relationship with small talk and introductions. A parent must be present at all times. I will keep up with the child's work load in the respective subject and also be in contact with their teacher. But my inital style will be repetition, which I found to be most productive during my time in the military. However, I realize that there many different methods to teaching. A Little Bit About Me...

I am very excited about teaching. I beleive that it is my time to give back and hopefully encourage someone that is ready to give up. I believe all children can learn and each has a different technique to register the information. My goal is to provide the best education and listen to the child.
Since I was a teen I have always wanted to be a teacher. I am presently enroll at Converse College in the Master Program. I am very driven to become a certified teacher. On June 12, I will be taken the teacher certification exam. I have earned a Bachelors in Business, an Associate in Arts and a Diploma in Computer Operations. These degrees have provided me many opporunities for advancement with previous employees. Recently, the company I was working for closed, this has allowed me to persue my life long dream.
