To that end I try to present material in a variety of ways, to address the various learning styls of the students, and discover methods to remedy weaknesses and build on strengths. In my 40+ years of experience in the field of education, I have taught full time at all grade levels, from pre-school to teacher training. In the field of adult education have taught writing to Chinese-speaking adults, which enabed them to pass the California teacher exam. As a Liberal Studies major at California State University of Bakersfield, the majority of the classes were aimed at how to teach children and how to teach different learning types. Especially as a math concentration, I took many math courses and above knowing many techniques on teaching math, I truly understand it and enjoy it.
