As long as I can remember, I have loved education. Beginning in my backyard with my cat and dog to my brothers and cousins, I have been a teacher. I grew up to be a teacher and enjoy teaching and tutoring children. I completed my first degree and received my teaching credential in 1990. I tutored philosophy students for a year while in college. I earned a master's degree in early childhood education and taught second grade for two years. I also was a substitute teacher for grades K-8th. Currently, I am a motivational speaker and a mentor through United We Mentor.
