I have grown up around my cousins' children and that has truly inspired me to go into teaching. Through my courses I have personally worked with different learning styles and enjoy the challenge of teaching them a way to see math through their own eyes. There are so many different ways to teach math and I am grateful to have had a wonderful math teacher in college that concentrated on the different way you can teach the same subject matter. My teaching style involves a positive approach. I believe students learn best in an environment that is both positive and challenging.
