My comments on tutoring Pre-Algebra : I am a College Professor (History, Philosophy, Ethics, English) with many years of tutoring experience. So far, I’ve completed a refresher course in Basic Algebra at Bucks County Community College with that in mind. If my teacher was busy helping a fellow student in my class, she would send students to me so that I could help them with concepts that they were struggling with. My teacher said I’m a natural tutor with a lot of patience. I found that I could easily explain what we were working on. I have also tutored several students since my class. One of my private students said I made Algebra seem easy!
