My comments on tutoring Physics : I am quite knowledgeable of the basics (manipulation of position, velocity, acceleration equations, vectors, etc. and pretty much all of the topics covered up to PY 208); however, I must admit that I am a bit more hesitant on materials pertaining to Magnetism and Electricity.

I graduated from Ronald Reagan High School with a 4.6 GPA in the second graduating class ('08), then went on the NC State University to study Engineering, where I jumped in between various Engineering programs for three years before simply deciding to take a break and truly figure out what I want to study. While this may deter several people from choosing me, I know that if you met me and/or any of my teachers from any grade level, they/I could certainly set the record straight, as I am quite a smart person, I have simply struggled with getting my life into an appropriate schedule. Physics is one of my top subjects!

I enjoy teaching and help others learn the subjects of math, science and Spanish. Everyone is different and therefore everyone has a different style of learning. Turning your weakness into your strength

I have been tutoring for over seven years, starting with my peers in tenth grade. I have tutored a wide range of subjects, from Geometry through Calculus III, from general computer knowledge through utilizing the advanced functions of Microsoft Access. I have tutored people ranging from my peers to people three times my age, to as young as third graders. My motto has evolved into "Helping those who feel they can not be helped"
I help guide the student along, having them discover much of the information in a trial and error fashion. I tend to use the questions they are struggling with the most, making similar examples, then walking them through these problems and breaking down the problems until the student understands the how the process works.

After entering the workforce for a few years, I took a few classes in education to acquire my teaching license in comprehensive science at the secondary level. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated high school in 2003 as the valedictorian of my class. I maintained my high level of academics in college but didn't know what I wanted to do for a career. I graduated in 2007 with my business degree and moved to NC. I worked for a mental health agency helping children in broken homes with school work and being a positive male role model as well as taking pre reqs to return to school for my masters degree in physical therapy. A Little Bit About Me...

I recently graduated from Wake Forest University with a biology major and minors in economics and philosophy. In completing the premedical requirements I received a rigorous education in the basic sciences while still taking a broad spectrum of courses through my minors. I enjoyed and excelled most in genetics, organic chemistry, and biochemistry.
