I believe that one of the challenges in teaching is motivating the students to be interested in learning. I believe that a good teacher who truly wants to instill life-long learning skills in his/her students challenges them by engaging and empowering them to become independent/critical thinkers/problem-solvers rather than making them dependent on him/her or on "route"/"regurgitative" learning. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been tutoring Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics since an undergraduate student. I also tutored English in Europe for several years and prepared my students for the TOEFL. I have been also teaching economics and finance because in 1995 I took the series 7&63 stockbroker licence and in 2000 I passed the LIFA, licensed international financial analyst exam.
My teaching style concentrates on the task I ought to solve. If I teach a group of people, I give a brief exam first. Tutoring individuals allows me to concentrate on one person and develop a winning strategy to motivate and teach the student for the given subject. Repetition, breaking down complex problems to simple ones and enthusiastic explanation is mainly my style. I am always adjusting to the individual who has to learn.
