I graduated high school in 2010 with a 3.8 GPA. I excelled in every aspect except math. I graduated the University of Southern Mississippi in 2014 with a 3.8 GPA. I have a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minors in Spanish. I have held several jobs. Most of them have been in sales. I believe children learn by experiences and examples. Making it relevant and interesting makes them to want to learn. They begin to understand the purpose for learning the material. Children have different learning styles and every child doesn't learn at the same rate. Teachers must realize this when planning lessons. Students need to know that to have the basics such as a home, a car and food for their family, they need an education. Kids don't think about the future and how their decisions will determine the rest of their lives. I have tutored elementary students during my tenure in the Air Force on a volunterr basis. I worked as a Introduction to Computers instructor at Keiser College for two semesters. I have a fascination with math and numbers. My extensive experience with budgeting and using spreadsheets and formulas has kept me fresh with my math skills.
