I've been a teacher's unofficial little helper since I was in Elementary, helping the students of my class that the teacher simply didn't have the extra time to help. From then on, I helped and even eventually taught my younger siblings when the current school system left them in the dust, and even helped them get a leg up and advance faster than their classmates. I've tutored a few younger kids in various subjects in my high school years, as well as occasionally teaching Taekwondo classes.

My comments on tutoring World History : I can help with world history.

Lead the student to find the right answer himself or herself if possible.
I have done private tutoring of high school students in math from pre-algebra to calculus and in other subjects. I have also home schooled adopted daughters from lower grades to high school level, including teaching English as a second language. In graduate school I was a teaching assistant in an electric machinery laboratory for non-electrical engineering majors. I worked directly with middle school children who had ADD, ADHD as well as other physical handicaps including Cerebral Palsy. In Lansing, I worked in an inner-city school as an English literature tutor for two years. I went on to work as a nanny/tutor for four years as I paid my way through college. I am a hard worker, a dedicated educator and I have a deep love for literature.
