My teaching style is tailored to each individual student's personality, etc. In May of 2010, I graduated with my B.S. Degree in Psychology and Sociology from Louisiana State University. In December 2012, I graduated from Nicholls State University with my M.A. Degree in Psychological Counseling. I was a substitute teacher at Ascension of Our Lord School for one year and taught all grade levels. While pursuing my undergraduate degree, I was the caregiver to an ADD/ADHD for one year. In addition, during my Master's Degree Internship, I provided counseling services to individuals, families, and groups of all ages, including special education children.

I love working with children and helping them succeed. I enjoy getting to know the child as an individual in order to form a relationship with them that will allow me to identify their learning style and interests. I am very patient, kind, intelligent and loving and I have high expectations for my students. With a degree in elementary education, I have been successful teaching and tutoring young children. I am especially proficient in teaching reading and have learned several different approaches to evaluate and direct students in their learning.
